Something new
I took what I learned from painting with watercolor for a couple of months and came up with something I like. It is newish in general and definitely new to me.
I like the saturation and random lined-textures. I especially like the depth in the one with the trees. I think you should push the inter-weaving and layering more. (like you did with the tail and trees). I need to start thinking about that more too. :-)
I absolutely love the first image. I would love to see you do more illustrations like this. It's not a huge departure from what you are currently doing. Great work!
